Firtan announces new albumHelios and releases "The Hierophant Way" featuring James Dorton

The German band Firtan has presented the first single from their upcoming studio album, Helios, set to be released on October 2, 2026.

The new song features a special appearance by James Dorton, vocalist of Ne Obliviscaris, adding even more intensity to the track. Known for his vocal versatility, Dorton contributes to a composition that merges Firtan's characteristic melodic black metal with atmospheric and progressive elements.

The release comes with an official music video. The production is directed and conceptualized by Klara Bachmair, with filming and post-production by Oliver König of Mbience Visuals, enhancing the band's cinematic visual identity.

"The Hierophant Way" is the first preview of Helios, an album that follows the group's previous work and opens a new chapter in their journey.
