Mãe Serpente previews new album with single 'Fúria Sem Olhos'
"Fúria Sem Olhos" previews the album scheduled for the first semester, kicking off a phase marked by intensity, weight, and sonic urgency.
With one of its fastest compositions to date, Mãe Serpente releases "Fúria Sem Olhos," a track that opens the eponymous album and works as a calling card for the new phase of the stoner metal trio. Heavily influenced by heavy metal, the song opts for a direct and incisive approach, showcasing a more aggressive sound without sacrificing the group’s characteristic density.
"Fúria Sem Olhos" explores anger as a driving force, highlighting its ability to propel action and determination even in adverse scenarios. The result is a composition that balances urgency, weight, and emotional charge, reflecting an intense reading of contemporary tensions and subjective experiences.
The single's production involved recording, mixing, and mastering at Audio One Studios by Alan Wallace, while the vocals were recorded at 415 Home Studio. Vocal preparation was handled by Nívea Paula. The accompanying music video was directed, captured, and edited by Felipe Cavalieri.

"Fúria Sem Olhos" previews the album scheduled for the first semester of 2026. Fernando Dias, the band's founder, signs all the tracks of the new work, bringing influences from classic rock and 1970s hard rock, reflected in heavy riffs and lyrics that delve into existential philosophy, occultism, and psychology. Mário Rodrigues, a member for four years, actively contributed to the pre-production, incorporating references that range from blues to extreme metal. Victor Espeschit, also a guitarist and vocalist for the death metal band Deathspit, adds even more weight and dynamics to the trio, expanding the band's sonic reach.
Formed in Vale do Aço, Minas Gerais, Mãe Serpente is composed of Fernando Dias on guitar, vocals, and composition, Mário Rodrigues on bass, and Victor Espeschit on drums. Since 2015, the trio has been building a solid trajectory in the underground scene of Minas Gerais. After the debut release in 2019 and a hiatus during the pandemic, the trio returns with a more cohesive and mature proposal.
