The singer and songwriter Luella presents her new single, 'Serpente Caranguejo', continuing to build her new and intriguing artistic phase. The release establishes itself as a raw, mystical, and deeply personal work, expanding the boundaries of her new compositions performed entirely in Portuguese.
The track was born from an intense and almost epiphanic experience lived by the artist at a show by her creative partner and music producer, Azullllll. Inspired by the producer's performance, Luella channeled this catharsis in the studio to create her own metaphor about two animals with high warlike and defensive power. The concept united the disguised nature of the snake with the preservation instinct of the crab, naturally turning into a true manifesto of the Cancer sign.
Sound-wise, the single flirts with the birth of an entirely new genre and challenges the conventional structures of the pop market. Built on a 5/4 time signature, Azullllll's musical production ties experimental electronic music textures to an explosion of distorted rock guitars in the second half of the track. The sound engineering also features immersive mixing and executive production signed by Rodolpho Rebuzzi.
Following the path started by the previous single, 'Como Se Eu Não Soubesse', Luella reaffirms with 'Serpente Caranguejo' her total artistic freedom and autonomy. Blending mockery, mysticism, and the contradictions of human behavior, the singer proves that her mosaic of references has no stylistic boundaries, establishing herself as one of the most original and daring names in the national alternative scene.
The single is available on all digital music platforms.
